Cyrus Zulkarnaïan Kazi
Since 1998, Cyrus has worked in the public and private sector, consulting with start-ups, NGOs and non-profits, educational institutions, city, state and federal governmental agencies, foreign governments, small- and mid-sized businesses, and technology companies. Cyrus helps companies build strong organizational foundations, improve business processes, think strategically, and sustain their growth in economic boom and bust.
Cyrus’s expertise is in strategic planning, board and management development, change management, organizational restructuring, business and project analysis, public-private partnership building, monitoring and evaluation, economic and financial analysis, public relations and cause-based campaign, and compliance and contract management.
An avid researcher, Cyrus's interest is in the areas of microcredit and micro-finance, economic growth, financial reform, and law and public policy. He has published several articles, most notably "Structural and Institutional Problems of Growth", and "Participation & Empowerment: The Developmental Theories and the Truth on the Ground ". Cyrus currently works with several nonprofits whose core services focus on environmental protection, community development, child abuse and neglect prevention, and immigrant and refugee issues.
He received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the Purchase College, State University of New York, and holds a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) in Public Policy & Evaluation from Baruch School of Public Affairs, as well as an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York.
Cyrus currently serves as the Managing Director of the Lexington Advisory Group.
